Hello..
My name is Jennifer Lee and I am a senior focusing on obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Arts (Interdisciplinary). I actually decided to major in Industrial Arts because I was pretty computer illiterate (not counting the basic internet surfing and using Word) but wanting to learn and pursue a career within the design field, especially with the world relying on so much technology. But after all the hard work and getting this far, I honestly don't see myself primarily working in this Industry but am happy I stayed to benefit myself learning something completely new to me and to also have the option to change careers later on.
My interests other than art and design are cooking, sight-seeing, football, watching movies, going out when I can, and spending time with people I cherish the most. I hate roller coasters and I can't stand people who think they're better than everyone else. My parents would be my inspiration because they always pushed me to finish my education and do new things to benefit myself as a person. Not to be so narrow-minded with life and be open-minded to everything that comes my way. What WOW's me and pushes me is to have a passion for something. I think it's great hearing/seeing what other peoples' passions are because you experience the best and worst in someone that way.
As for right now, completing my education is important to me because there are many times I've been close to not caring and giving up, so earning my Bachelors Degree is a great hurdle I am very close to overcoming. Career-wise, I'm currently an Assistant Designer/Stager for One Two Six Design in Mountain View, CA (one of the largest home staging companies in the Bay Area). I help prepare accessories and decorate homes that are in the market to be sold with other designers. It's hands-on and I love my job. I look forward to becoming a Designer myself and see a prosperous future with this close-knit company.
Words that best describe me are: OPEN-MINDED, CARING, PERFECTIONIST (when it comes to details), STUBBORN, UNDERSTANDING, & HOT-HEADED.
